Pressure Washing Liability Form

Pre-existing damage: JJ Cleaning Services will note any obvious pre-existing damage during a visual inspection and take photos. 
 
Watertightness: The property owner is responsible for ensuring the property is watertight. 
 
Access: The property owner is responsible for ensuring clear access around the area to be cleaned. 
 
Water supply: The property owner is responsible for ensuring access to an outdoor tap. 
 
Drainage: The property owner must ensure adequate drainage around the property and is responsible for any damage caused by a lack of drainage. JJ Cleaning Services will advise of any obvious issues before or during the work. 
 
Colour-Fastness: The property owner is responsible for the colourfastness of any paint, stain, or coating on the exterior of the building. pressure washing will remove the surface layer of organic matter and debris, revealing the material underneath. Due to the age of the area, it may have lost it’s protective coating, resulting in a different colour or texture compared to their original installation. JJ Cleaning Services is not responsible for any variations in the final colour or texture of the roof. 
 
Furniture & Plant life: The property owner is responsible for moving or covering any furniture or plant life to protect it from overspray / damage. JJ Cleaning Services is happy to help where required. 
 
Waste: Pressure Washing may generate a significant amount of waste. The property owner is responsible for disposing of any waste removed during the cleaning process, which may be ideal for a compost pile or general mulch for plants. Alternatively, JJ Cleaning Services can bag up the waste at the owner’s request. 

 

Declaration: I, the homeowner, acknowledge and agree that accepting and booking a pressure washing service with JJ Cleaning Services means that i acknowledge the above statements. I have requested pressure washing services to be performed on my property. I understand that pressure washing can expose or worsen any pre-existing conditions or damage, including but not limited to roof leaks, worn seals, or compromised shingles/tiles. By using our services, I acknowledge that the services provider, JJ Cleaning Services', shall not be held liable for any leaks, damage, or other issues that may arise due to pre-existing conditions, structural weaknesses, or hidden defects that were not caused by the pressure washing process itself. 
 
I agree that any issues related to pre-existing damages are the sole responsibility of the homeowner and that  

'JJ Cleaning Services' shall not be held responsible for repairs or associated costs.
